Openstream Proud to Host the "W3C Workshop on Conversational Applications"

Somerset, NJ, June 18 2010 - Openstream, a leading provider of secure, standards-based multimodal mobile platform, hosted a W3C Workshop on Conversational Applications at Crown Plaza Hotel, Somerset, NJ on June 18-19.

Developers of conversational voice applications across the world, came together to discuss the limitations of human language model currently supported by W3C standards such as SRGS, SISR and PLS for developing conversation applications. The goal of the workshop was to collect and analyze use cases and prioritize requirements that ultimately will improve support for language capabilities and enable development of sophisticated conversational applications.

The W3C working group will be publishing a document that will serve as a guide for improving the W3C language model.
